Jordan had been on my mind for a few years now, well; like so many other places that I would like to visit. The quality of roller coasters in Jordan is not great which didn't make me that enthusiastic about visiting the country. When I choose to visit a country which has a poor selection of coasters, I consider two main points. Firstly, is this a new country that I'll be visiting for the first time, and secondly, are there any sightseeing/attractions worth seeing. For me, Jordan ticked both boxes. I'd never been there before and it has Petra, one of the Wonders of the world. That alone sealed it foe me.
